Frequently asked questions
We send you regular updates proactively so that everyone involved knows where the shipment is and when it will be delivered.
The duration depends on the route and port. Within Europe, it can take around a few days to 2 weeks, while shipping from Europe to Asia or America often takes between 3-8 weeks.
A partial or full charter from a ship is the best option here; shipping this quantity by container would be too much effort and more expensive than shipping it loose in a ship.
Typical documents include:
1. Bill of Lading (B/L): The most important transport document.
2. Customs documents: For international shipping.
3. Invoice and packing list: For processing customs formalities.
1. Standard container (20ft, 40ft): For most types of dry goods.
2. Refrigerated container (reefer): For temperature-sensitive goods.
The first things are already queried using our small questionnaire, but different information is required depending on the transport. However, the following applies to every transport, “From where?“and “To where?“. How much and what is to be transported. In the end it is also important how the goods are packaged, e.g. 500 BigBags of cement weighing 1 ton. However, we will personally clarify the details and ask questions; should we need anything else.
